José María Pedraza Sánchez

Andalusian composer and pianist born in Antequera (Málaga). He began his elementary musical studies at the age of 7 years in the Municipal Band and Elemental Conservatory in his hometown. Continue studying piano, harmony and composition at the Conservatory of Malaga and Conservatory of Music Angel Barrios of Granada. He studied Piano Modern Jazz Harmony and Composition in different courses and master classes with Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Aaron Goldberg, Bruce Barth, Dave Kikoski, Albert Sanz, Joan Diaz, Josep Mas "Kitflus", Perico Sambeat, Ruben Roger, Gregory Hutchinson and Bill McHenry, among others.

His versatility in the world of jazz, flamenco and fusion gave him the opportunity of sharing stage with musicians like Kurt Elling, Perico Sambeat, Rubem Dantas, Kevin Mahogani, Jorge Pardo, Chonchi Heredia, Tito Alcedo, Bob Sands, Angy Bao, Kim Plainfield, Rex Richardson, Miguel Rios, Tony Berenguer, Dan Ben Lior, Henry Oliver, Julian Sanchez, Dany Noel, Paco Peña, Diego Guerrero, Dani Dominguez and working for groups such as The Orquesta Ciudad de Granada, Granada Big Band, La Sonora Big Band, Antonio Gomez Group, Rubem Dantas Quartet, Quartet Tito Alcedo, Lara Bello Group, Spectrum of Emotion, Maui and Sirenians and Dany Noel United Ink.
